Jeremiah's Story

Jeremiah is a business owner, national speaker, and conservationist based in New York. Born in Kansas City, raised in Queens, New York, Jeremiah roots for the Kansas City Chiefs and the NY Yankees. As a first-generation American, son of hardworking immigrants, Jeremiah learned the values of a hard work ethic and integrity in business. Growing up in New York, he sought ways to reduce the debt associated with university so his parents would not have to worry about money. Jeremiah would spend nine months writing essays, applying to college, grants and foundations resulting in him being offered ~$800k in scholarships from various institutions. This experience opened Jeremiah’s eyes to the world of philanthropy and grant writing, leading him to help, work and consult for various foundations during and after his time in college and to provide guidance to high school and undergraduate students looking to decrease their burden of debt associated with education.

Jeremiah graduated from Cornell University and later took on the role of working for the Bezos Family Foundation executing both domestic and international philanthropy helping to give away over $45M supporting refugees in Ukraine, Mexico and Afghanistan, girls education, climate change, art activism, maternal health, leadership program for U.S public high school students and innovative technology. Jeremiah currently serves as a business owner and consultant spending his free time traveling the world, taking cooking classes and enjoying concerts and playing board games with friends.

Speaking Engagements

Over the last 13 years Jeremiah has spoken on stages and companies such as JPMorgan Chase, NBC Education Nation, Mentoring in Medicine, Elite Link Education. Jeremiah draws from his experience growing up in New York, getting into and graduating from Cornell University, and his work experience such as working at the Bezos Family Foundation and sitting on a number of boards supporting education initiatives for youth and young people and conservation efforts to save endangered animal species.

Jeremiah draws from his experience working on Wall Street at J.P.Morgan, TED, and the Harvard School of Public Health. Jeremiah has helped half a dozen scholar programs and fellowship programs in various positions create supportive communities for their grantees and grow their networks over the last 12 years. Jeremiah has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, Aspen Institute Ascend Fellow, Roots Young Futurist, JPMorgan Chase TFI Fellow, Gates Millennium Scholar, Coca-Cola Scholar, Bezos Scholar and SEO Scholar. Leveraging these experiences, Jeremiah delivers insightful and comprehensive strategies, information, research and data-driven analyses to audiences around the nation.
